I'm at someone else's house right now doggie sitting all alone over night.): The doggy liked me yesterday and now she's growling and barking and won't come back inside after she let herself out through the doggie door. She did however, come back in for a moment to eat. I guess that's a plus. Suggestions and company are welcome. I'm bored and lonely and have no motivation to do my artwork for school right meow.
I have a project due in my Design class in a few weeks. The guidlines as described by our teacher are that it has to be a plaster cast sculpture of our "second-self". It also needs to be site specific/linked directly to a location. I told her I was going to do a centaur....which she is adimately against. While she's busy worrying about what she thinks I'm working on right now, I'm really going to cast myself as half student and half teacher sitting on our information desk in the front of the school wtih a list of ideas for an improved school of art and design. Though this list was inspired by negative qualities of our school and education as a whole, I will not be listing them specifically, but rather thier solutions or suggestions that would make a damn fine establishment in the future. I'm also toying with the idea of presenting my resume next to me. I am literally a student and teacher and have paperwork to prove it. Perhaps this would make them think I have more room to talk. The final step in this process would be to print and deliver invitations to the faculty and administration heads. Did I meantion that my Design teacher is also the Dean of Foundations?
Please let me know what you think of this idea. I'd also like to hear any suggestions for aditions to this list. It's okay if it rolls down the front steps and out the door to greet people.(:
